Black Gaboon Ebony - Serial No. 0006
-This unique display is our first and thus far only Gaboon Ebony 1911. We were finally able to obtain enough of this rare wood to craft a full replica. It took weeks of meticulous work and 116 individual pieces of wood to complete the whole display. Like all of our displays, the gun is non-firing, but mechanically functional. -Serial No. 0006
-The gun is solely crafted from Black Gaboon Ebony save the grips which are of Bolivian Rosewood. The 45 ACP rounds are of Goncalo Alves with White Holly casings. The display case is of ribbon cut African Mahogany.
-Other than an internal barrel plug required by law for replicas, there is no staining, coloring, tinting or painting applied to any of the wood in our displays. The wood is its natural color.
